Broken Bells is a group formed by producer Brian Button, also known as Danger Mouse, and The Shins lead singer James Mercer. They formed the group and recorded the music in secret, in order to make the music and creative experience that much more pure. Their debut album "The Broken Bells" was released on March 9, 2010.
